Max Eisen survived Auschwitz. He committed his life to Holocaust education and awareness. His memoir, By Chance Alone, won the prestigious Canada Reads Award. For his contribution to Canada, he had won many awards and 4 Honorary Doctorates and the Order of Canada. Max Eise passed away on July 6, 2022 at 93 years old.
A Canadian icon, Paul Godfrey is a Member of the Order of Canada, the Order of Ontario and has an Honourary Doctorate. He is the Founder and Chairman of Postmedia; the former Chairman of the Ontario Gaming Corporation; Chairman of Metro Toronto; President & CEO of the Toronto Sun; President & CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, and Rogers Centre. He serves as Honourary Chair of AGPI and sits on many boards including as the former Chairman of RioCan (after serving there for 27 years), and currently with CargoJet, Bragg Gaming Group, among others.
Avi Abraham Benlolo is a noted prominent Canadian human rights defender and the founder and visionary behind the The Abraham Global Peace Initiative. He was the founding President & CEO of Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center - creating all of its programming and infrastructure; has received an honorary doctorate; the Order of Vaughan; the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal; the Canadian Race Relations Award and many others for his work in advancing pluralism, diversity and equity.
Mark Teitelbaum is the President of The Abraham Global Peace Initiative. An exceptional entrepreneur with moral and ethical fortitude, Mr. Teitelbaum business skill, oversight and strategic planning ability is second to none. Coming from a family of Holocaust survivors, he is passionate about community involvement and leadership and instilling values of kindness, compassion and "Tzedakah" in his children.
Justin Linden is a prominent Canadian lawyer at Linden & Associates., a thriving law firm in Toronto. Known for his leadership and philanthropy, Mr. Linden served as the Chairman of the Canadian Opera Company and has been involved on a number of charities in the Jewish community. Mr. Linden proudly advocates for Israel and fights Antisemitism.
The Hon. Maurizio Bevilacqua, P.C., BA, MA, LL.M is the immediate former Mayor of Vaughan. He was an MP for 22 years as Minister of State - Finance, Minister of State - Science, Research & Development, and Chair of the Finance Committee. While he sits on the boards of many organizations including AGPI. He has made Vaughan into a world class city and raised $250 million for its hospital.
Dr. Susan Glick is a University of Toronto trained family physician with a special interest in psychotherapy, practicing in Thornhill and North Toronto since 1983. Dr. Glick is associated with UJA Federation, B'nai Brith, JNF, FSWC, Associated Hebrew School and CHAT. She is the daughter in-law of Holocaust survivors and is dedicated to supporting AGPI.
Stephen D.A. Clark is a corporate lawyer with a specialty in financial services regulation. For over 40 years, as a partner and Practice Group Chair in Canada’s largest law firms, Stephen has advised banks and other financial institutions on regulatory and M&A legal matters. Stephen recently joined Air Canada as its General Counsel – Loyalty providing strategic business and legal advice.
Bruce Etherington is one of Canada's leading financial advisors. Active in his community as well as with numerous charitable organizations throughout Canada, he is a past member of the Governor’s Circle, the Advisory Board to David Johnson Governor General of Canada on the subject of Community Foundations. He is a respected speaker, author and faith leader.

He has dedicated his life to pursuing freedom, justice and human rights and to standing with organizations such as this that strive to pursue peace.
Dr. Philip Solomon is one of the nation's top medical practitioners in the area of Head and Neck cancer surgery, Reconstructive Facial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Plastic Surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty and otoplasty surgery. As a Director, he represents the AGPI Board of Governors, giving them voice on the Board. Dr. Solomon is a human rights advocate who supports the promotion of peace, tolerance and advancement of humanity.
Jonathan Solursh is an international management leader with experience in North America, Europe, Russia, the Caribbean and Central America. Spanning almost three decades, Mr. Solursh has acted as the accountable manager in a multitude of situations. He has taken on CEO, CFO and CRO roles, managing complex employee groups, stakeholders and commercial operations as a broad-based leader and change agent.
Chief of Police Stephen Tanner is one of the longest serving police chiefs in Canada. Appointed by the Governor General of Canada as an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces, Chief Tanner has headed the Kingston, Belleville and now the Halton police services. His involvement in diversity and concern for human rights is longstanding.
Maryka Weisz is a community leader involved in Holocaust education, women's leadership, and business affairs. As a hidden child during the Holocaust, she fortunately survived Nazi deportations to concentration camps. After the war, along with her family, she fled Hungary because of the rampant Antisemitism. For this reason, she had dedicated her life to countering Antisemitism and promoting human rights for all.
Lawrence Wilder is a Partner at Toronto law firm, Miller Thomson. He has a long history of community leadership, involvement and philanthropy. Professionally, his practice focuses on representing public and private entrepreneurs and assisting them in successfully growing their businesses. Lawrence handles all aspects of the development curve, from initial equity funding to IPO’s.
Dr. Korman is board-certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is the Division Head of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at William Osler Health System, which provides care to 1.3 million people in one of the fastest-growing and most culturally diverse regions in Ontario. In addition to a large surgical practice Dr. Korman is frequently engaged as a medical-legal expert is a Medical Inspector, Peer Assessor and Lead Assessor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Korman has been involved in human rights and anti-racism causes for over a decade.

He then went on to complete a five-year residency training program in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, one of the world’s leading education centres for Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Solomon’s training focused on Head and Neck cancer surgery, Reconstructive Facial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Plastic Surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty and otoplasty surgery. Some of his mentors are recognized as international authorities in the fields of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Cosmetic and Reconstructive Rhinoplasty Surgery.
